Gradebook
The School Beam Gradebook Module is an available component for the School Beam Suite. This module snaps into the suite and allows for the management of student grades and gives powerful visibility into student, teacher, and class performance.
Features:
- Dynamic Permissions - Allows for users of different types to access and modify certain data.
- View/Edit Gradebooks - Users can view and/or edit gradebooks using an easy-to-use interface to view and manipulate data.
- View Assignment Details - View information (such as lowest, highest, and average grades) for an assignment. View charts to see how each student performed on the assignment. Easily see which students performed best/worst on each assignment.
- View Student Details - View information (such as lowest, highest, and average grades) for a student in a class. View charts to see how the student performed on each of their assignments. Easily see which assignments the student performed best/worst on.
- View/Edit Student Comments - Apply comments to each student in each class. These types of comments can be exported for printing on the student report card. Example Comments: "Works well with others", "Needs better class participation", etc (Available comment options can be configured by an administrator).
- Generate Charts - Generate numerous types of bar charts to see average grades. Many chart types are available, including grades of students, average grades as assigned by each teacher, average overall class grades, and more.
- Export Grades - Student grades can be exported in an XML or CSV (Comma-Separated Value) file format. This data can then be formatted and/or read into other district programs to use the data in other methods (for example: Report Card Generation).
